I am thinking for my career i want to do medical billing and coding but does it require math?

i am not really good at math at all and i want a good career but dont knw what to do !!

yes it requires math. but if this is what you want to do you got to work really hard. take a lot of math classes. if that is what it takes. if this is what you want to do then you got to do it. you will get good at math dont give up on your dream. good luck.
Reply:Adding and subtracting and its all program based. All you do is entry work. You can do it!
Reply:Not really. You apply alpha numeric codes to diagnosis, procedures, and supplies, but not much actual math is involved. Best wishes to you!

Reply:I'm with you there! I've been thinking of going this route myself. I'm not great at math but I can do the good old addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. It's when you start putting letters and numbers together that you stump me! I'm still considering billing and coding and will most likely go this route because I think I'll really enjoy it!
