If I study for billing and coding will there be dificult math involved?

I am interested in the medical billing and coding carrier ,but I dont know what I am going to get my self into if it is hard math ,or what.

I do medical billing... I havent had any difficult math.. I use an adding machine if I need to figure stuff out, but its pretty easy...
Reply:My mom does that and I remember when she would study for it. From what I remember it was mostly medical terms etc that you learn, the math, if any, was not very difficult.
Reply:No math involved it's coding for diagnosis and procedures for proper billing practice.

Reply:My sister is going to school for medical coding and billing and she's just started math. She said that algebra is involved as well as word problems, but she didn't say what other math subjects she's going to have. Hope this helps.
Reply:Most likely, there will be some math inolved in your education (try and find a college or program with little or no math requirement), but I doubt you will use higher math very often on the job
