I want to make a website, i have the coding on notepad now but what do i need to do so i can get it on the web

i have the coding to make the site but i dont know what to do so i can get it to run on the internet, so what do i need to do so i can run it?

you need ftp software - lots out there so just google "ftp software" and see what's best for you.





You will need to have bought domain hosting and webspace too, and will be given a username and password, you then upload your files to that webspace and all shoudl work fine. The first page you want people to see will have to be called 'index.html' (or .php or .asp - depending on if you've used that).

If what you have is html then you can test it, to see how it's going to look, before you load it up to your website, by finding it, on My Computer, and just double-clicking it. Internet Explorer will pop up and display the results of your file.
